“Justice Rides” — The Featured Book of the Week And The Featured Free Story of the Week (Video)

The featured book of the week for this week is “Justice Rides,” my first e-book. This book tells the story of how Eli Jones became the avenger known as Justice O. Peace.

Regular readers who follow my work on Literotica know that Justice shows up in a lot of my stories. While many of those stories hint at his beginnings and his life as a young man in pre-Civil War Texas, none of them tell the whole story of how Eli made the transition.

This book starts in 1864, right before the (very real) Battle of Brown’s Mill, and ends on the Thanksgiving before the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The book also includes an account of the (also very real) Wichita Falls bank robbery of 1896.

If you enjoy spicy historical fiction that includes some real characters and real events, this book is for you.

This week’s excerpt, which you can read here, recalls the first meeting between Eli — who is operating under the fake name Jim Horn — and Texas Ranger Captain Bill McDonald.

Read an excerpt of the book here, then grab your copy in ebook or paperback on Amazon here.

Eli/Justice is also the main character in this week’s featured free story, “Justice 02: Ghost Riders.” Spoiler alert: Bill McDonald plays a role in this story as well.

A quick programming note: If you read last week’s Substack newsletter, you know that my 93-year-old mother-in-law has been diagnosed with cancer. Due to circumstances surrounding that, I have been quite busy, so I will not post a newsletter this week.

I hope things will settle down to a somewhat steady roar over the next week, and should be able to post a new update next week. I should also have more news for you by then. If you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter, please feel free to do so here in order to keep up with what’s going on.

Until next time, happy trails!
