This week’s featured book is Justice Rides, my first Amazon publication. It tells the story of how Eli Jones, a sergeant in the 8th Indiana Cavalry Regiment, becomes the immortal avenger known as Justice O. Peace.
Regular readers who follow my work on Literotica know that Justice shows up in a lot of my stories. While many of those stories hint at his beginnings and his life as a young man in pre-Civil War Texas, none of them tell the whole story of how Eli made the transition.
This book starts in 1864, right before the (very real) Battle of Brown’s Mill, and ends on the Thanksgiving before the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The book also includes an account of the (also very real) Wichita Falls bank robbery of 1896.
If you enjoy spicy historical fiction that includes some real characters and real events, this book is for you.
Read an excerpt of the book here, then grab your copy in e-book or paperback on Amazon here. “Justice Rides” is also part of this month’s group promotion on Bookfunnel, here.
“★★★★★ Saddle Tramp 1956 is one of my favorite authors and this is one of his best. Would recommend it as a great read to anyone that appreciates good adult novels.”
“★★★★★ This book just makes his stories even better. I have enjoyed this character in this author’s other stories.”
This week’s featured free story is “The Plant 03: Colony,” which continues the story of the Gingraviks’ immersion into human civilization. It focuses on a college student who accidentally comes across one of the alien plants.
As one can imagine, her life is forever changed…
