Happy Wednesday, everyone! It’s been quite a busy week here in the Saddletramp Universe.
I’m close to finishing “1984: Summer of Discontent” for a summer anthology set to be published in June. I hope to have that ready by the end of the month. Stay tuned here for updates on that project.
This week’s featured book is “Son of Baalak: Book Two of the Baalak Trilogy.” Published at Amazon on August 15, 2022, this e-book picks up twenty years after the events of “The Cursed Phallus of Baalak-Ra” and focuses on Ron Fletcher, the son of Terry and Eileen Fletcher.

The featured free story for this week is “AI Chronicles 01: Jack and Jill,” and can be read in its entirety here. Some have asked why I delved into stories about AI. I addressed that somewhat in a previous post on Substack. I’ve run across several other articles since, including one about an AI that threatened to blackmail the engineers who created it.
