My contribution to this collection is a story called “The Last, Best Christmas,” which tells the story of a ninety-five-year-old veteran preparing to be reunited with his wife, who died a couple of years earlier.
It’s a little different from my usual fare, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed crafting it.
