Happy Tuesday! May was quite a month in the Saddletramp Universe. For starters, we celebrated my lovely bride’s birthday.
We also marked the fourth anniversary of my debut novel, Justice Rides. Many thanks to the hundreds of people who got their complimentary e-book! If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, go here and do so now. It’s not free anymore, but it’s very reasonably priced. I still have an anniversary present to buy (don’t tell anyone…).
I completed Her Marriage, Her Terms: A Sequel, and have submitted it to Literotica, where it’s now sitting in their “Pending” purgatory. It’s been there for nearly a month — stories usually go live after three to ten days — and I’m not very optimistic that it will get published any time soon. If ever. I’ll deal with that when the time comes.
I have also completed the first draft of “The Girl in the Lake,” a story for a new summer anthology tentatively set for publication in late June. I’m going through it now to catch the errors my keyboard may have left behind… This story explores a “love, lost and found” theme, with a water nymph who helps a grieving widower cope with the loss of his wife. This is different from my usual fare, as there is no cheating or infidelity, which means no one gets nuked or banished to another dimension filled with weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. In short, it’s just some good, old-fashioned, sexy, magical fun.
I’m also working on Flash 06: The Temporary Wife, which will be posted here. I’m debating whether or not to post it on Literotica, given how long they’ve been taking to get my current story up.
