Happy Sunday, everyone! I know it’s been a while since my last update here, but things have been hectic around the homestead.
The wife is recovering from her pacemaker installation, and she kicked a nasty bladder infection that’s been hounding her for a while. She still has some other issues that won’t go away, but we’re dealing with those. I appreciate all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers y’all have been sending our way.
I’m working on a new short story for a Christmas holiday anthology, and I’ve dusted off my outline for Another Climax in Time, a sequel to last year’s book, A Climax in Time. And I’m also working on my sci-fi serial, Panspermia: Genesis. So stay tuned…
On top of that, I’m writing a series of posts about book-marketing scammers on social media. Yeah, they’re everywhere. You can read my posts on that subject here. My main rule of thumb is never to engage, not even to say no. How effective is that? Let me put it this way. I’ve seen a drastic reduction in unsolicited email pitches over the last week. Apparently, after four years, they’re finally realizing I don’t respond. Of course, that could be a head fake. Who knows what’ll happen in a week or two?
